John C. Proctor, RN, is a healthcare professional with interests spanning emergency medicine, human performance, and healthcare in extreme environments. His work and ongoing areas of study reflect a passion for advancing the role of nursing and medical support systems in challenging operational settings, including aerospace and remote-environment healthcare.


John has been involved in discussions surrounding space medicine, operational healthcare readiness, and the future of human support systems beyond traditional Earth-based clinical settings. His interests include the evolving role of nurses and healthcare professionals in aerospace medicine, telemedicine, and the unique physiological and psychological demands associated with extreme and off-world environments.
